Answer» I have been editing a .rtf text document. Some page breaks have appeared where they were not intended. For example, there are CASES where one line appears on a page. Many of these problems have cropped up as I have been inserting some indicators like {begin quote}. I have tried to remove them manually as recommended in Help by using the Delete key. That is not working.Go to Tools-->Options-->View. Under "formatting marks", check the "All" box and click OK. You will then see an indication where all page breaks (and other special characters) OCCUR. These won't APPEAR on any print out. Uncheck the "All" box to hide the marks again.I did what was suggested. The page breaks appeared as dotted lines in the Normal View, together with the line break symbols etc. This did not help me but when I CLICKED the All off, the problem went away. I am mystified but thanks for the INFO.
