The Demo versions are the free ones.the demo versions shows how program works, but DOESNT MAKE ANY changes!!!!SORRY!What o/s is question related to!The one and only TIME I've partitioned my disk after the OS was installed it wasn't 100% successful.
I finished up with missing bits & pieces
Maybe the partitioning programs are better now but I'll stick to doing it at the start with fdisk.
Meanwhile, whenever I get thoughts of putting linux on beside my windows I just give myself an uppercut. What is the PROBLEM with linx and win......Linux & Windows run fine on the same partitioned HDD, the problem is partitioning after you already have Windows + other programs installed.
Anyway, the Linux GUIs are turning into bloatware and in my opinion they are slow compared to Windows.
It's just that sometimes I get the Linux urge so the next computer will get some extra partitions for me to play. Quote

Are you the kind of PERSON that manages to get run over by a train that does not move? You can't get partition magic for free unless you get some illegal way EG get a copy from a friend or a download from Kazza. But here is a free Alterative.
