i have a realtek nic, asus motherboard, p3 550.
also have a kingston nicWhat are you trying to do? Install a PCI NIC card? To override the builtin NIC in the computer? More clarity PLEASE, as the KNOWING the purpose will help get the solution.If the device manager reports it as uninstalled, install mainboard drivers.i have INSTALLED a pci nic card but still cant go on the net.
ive uninstalled it and reinstalled the card but no avail.
[email protected]Does it show upin Device Manager as a functioning NIC? No yellow exclamation point by it? If so, then run internet connection wizard (My Computer/C Drive/Program Files/Internet Explorer/Connection Wizard/Inetwiz) and select the LAN option.
What NIC and what ISP are you using?
