Solve : photo editor that works??

Answer»

Does anybody know of a free photo editor that will simply outline a part of the picture save it and delete the rest? If Paint does this I haven't found it. As in MS Paint you USE the square or circle tool to draw a circle and then fill with the color you want. So if you fill with white then you've esentially deleted that part. I just want to take a section of the picture and delete the rest so I can print it out for job ESTIMATE purposes. I've wasted more time fooling around with this. Sometimes it sort of works but not at all like they say. Some better editor have special filters that can do that.
Did you tray all on this list?
Best free photo editing software.
In Windows 7 & Windows 8, Paint has a Crop button and makes cropping easy. Are you using Windows XP or what?I'm using 9 but thanks and I'll look at it again
There is no "9" so we still don't know what VERSION of Windows you have. If I go up to help and select about Internet Explorer it says Explorer 9 But I did find a easy to use crop too in Windows Photo Gallery. You just select the picture you want then select fix then on the right select crop picture. Now I just have to see if I can get pics from my phone Galaxys3 there. I was trying to print one of those pics and it said only printable with a Samsung printer.Nobody has asked you what browser you have. The fact that you're using IE 9 is irrelevant. We still don't know what version of Windows you have, and that is relevant for the reason I previously mentioned. Home premium vista 64 bitI no longer have Win Vista and I can't recall the features of Paint in Vista. An image of Paint (Win 7/8), which shows the Crop button, is below:

[recovering disk space, attachment deleted by admin]Grazzi! Like i said i found it in win photo galleryI would go towards GIMP for this. It's a free photo editing software that is close to photoshop. It's a more complicated than MS paint but it will give you better outcomes and more features if you know how to use it. A day of watching video TUTORIALS on youtube will pretty much give you the basic knowledge to use this software.I agree that GIMP is a pretty powerful free photo editing software. However, gord99 simply needs an easy way to crop photos, so I think GIMP is more than he needs.
