Solve : Photo tagging software?

I am looking for a program that allows me to tag faces of people in photos.
I keep all my pictures on a portable HARDDRIVE which I USE in many computers.
I tryed pisca but the tagging didn't travel with the pictures.
Since GIVING up on pisca I've switched over to linux.
Is there such a program?
