Hello, my PRINTER (Pixma MP530 Printer) will not print color? It is only PRINTING black and gold. I have new ink. I have tried everything! I'm awaiting my printer guru. Thanx. Have you reviewed your printer settings? Are the ink cartrages installed properly?

Also, is there not a self test it can do?Well, you are not going to believe this but I did check everything regarding the printer. Then I got to thinking, a very dangerous thing. All of my other software was really wacked and the computer had just gone down hill so I decided to reformat the hard drive. Getting rid of all of that software that I couln't uninstall in the add remove hardware was a relief. Did I loose some date, sure enough. I had also HOPED it would fix my printer problem. So I was able to print consecutively and my color came back. I am BRILLIANT! Let's hope I dont have to do this again. Thanx everyone. DakotaReinstalling Windows helped?
