[glb]Flame[/glb]Well guys, we still haven't git the nail on the head... still does it... Anything else we can try?
[glb]Flame[/glb]Well there is spywareO2 - BHO: (no name) - {4D25F921-B9FE-4682-BF72-8AB8210D6D75} - C:\Program Files\MyWaySA\SrchAsDe\1.bin\deSrcAs.dll O2 - BHO: DriveLetterAccess - {5CA3D70E-1895-11CF-8E15-001234567890 C:\WINDOWS\system32\dla\tfswshx.dll
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {4D25F926-B9FE-4682-BF72-8AB8210D6D75} - C:\Program Files\MyWaySA\SrchAsDe\1.bin\deSrcAs.dll So you want me to... Delete them with HiJackThis?
[glb]Flame[/glb]To play it safe download spysweeper from webroot.com and sweep the system......disconnect pc from the net after downloading s/s......i bet it find things that msantispy has not.....also disable the system/restore program... and have a look as well in the events log/control panel/admin tools
**I would advise winxp users....if they have no use for it( remote access )to disable it**I have Microsoft Antispyware and have SCANNED with no results... Should I still try webroot?
[glb]Flame[/glb]Yes!! download it......and then we see what to do next.....step by step......ok....Ok, what I ahve done is download what they call the Spy Audit. A free spyware scan... I will RUN that now and post results... Thanks!
[glb]Flame[/glb]What happened to spysweeper.. .....if you what the best you have to use the best.......Ok, well the Spy Audit took a shorter amount of time than I thought... it turns out I have 19 Adware cookies... Here is a screenshot of the results... By the way, Spysweeper did not appear to be free...
These look like just cookies... Nothing to worry about? Here is a list of what cookies were FOUND...
Clean?
[glb]Flame[/glb]Well the spyaduit found a lot??does realmedia ring any bells...?.....and what happens to msantispy......failling down is it......now get adaware to delete them.....spysweeper is not free......and you right but you could have used the thirty-day trial version......after that you could have dumped it.........And must invest in a forty three inch plasma screen ......for this pc... lol Merlin, this is adware. it's nothing really to worry about. Why have Adaware remove it? Isn't adaware considered a "failing" program now? Lack of updates, etc? Plus, I would have downloaded the free trial and dumped it, but then I have old files in my computer taking up space and trashing my registry... Can't HijackThis delete them? Quote: Does RealMedia ring any bells?" Answer: oh yes, it all just came SCREAMING back to me now Can HijackThis delete them?
[glb]Flame[/glb]YES if want to cross match them .....against bhos....thats why i suggested spysweeper......adaware should clean them? and if they keep coming back...disable system restore......go for it....Ok... Are these really THAT big of a deal? I'm in more of a hurry to fix this process deal than delete Spyware/adware...
[glb]Flame[/glb]Well... This is strange... I just booted-up the computer, and it doesn't feel like giving me any errors this morning! maybe the problem has been solved!!! Thanks for the help EVERYONE, and I will post again should any more problems appear!
