Answer» Hello Friends!
Please help me out with this svchost.exe, it literary seems to overwhelm my system(Have a sneak peek at the Screenshot). I have often observed CPU Usage going to as high as 100% during System Startup & it becomes "Non-Responsive" for a couple of seconds!
Why there are multiple enteries for svchost.exe? Is this OK or some pernicious thing going on with it?
[ATTACHMENT deleted by admin]I have it 7 times in my task manager. During start up it is likely to go high on the CPU usage because it is trying to get everything started up.
Here is a nice link that might help you out. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/what-is-svchostexe-and-why-is-it-running/Same as me. Just one thing don't end the process cause you need this service host.Download Process Explorer: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx Unzip ProcessExplorer.zip, and double click on procexp.exe to run the program. Click on View > Select Colunms. In ADDITION to already pre-selected options, make sure, the Command Line is selected, and press OK. Go File>Save As, and save the report as Procexp.txt. Attach the file to your next reply.Hello Broni!
Well here is what I have in store for you.!
Please check-out the attachment & guide me further to make my System feel lighter.
[attachment deleted by admin]I see NOTHING wrong here. System Idle Process uses 98.46% of CPU cycles, which is perfectly normal. System Idle Process is CPU portion, which is NOT used. Thanks ...O LITTLE Teddy-Broni, You have been so nice & SWEAT! If you repeatedily start and shutdown windows, svchost will start to use additional resources i cant remember why this happense, but the problem eventually corrects itself with prolonged machine usage.Quote from: Saurabhdua on April 24, 2009, 07:02:42 AM Thanks ...O Little Teddy-Broni, You have been so nice & sweat!
