Answer» My PC built with powerquest as image saver. Images saved on e drive ( c drive partitioned into c d and e)
CD no longer works to restore ( after new mobo and sata to replace ide drives... ) PC works, but certain programs need to be restored.
The PC builder gave me the 2 diskettes for powerquest 2002 that are to be RUN from floppy ( a drive ) which I have.
I have googled and youtubed my brains out and have no idea how to use this diskettes. I have setup to BOOT from floppy ( disc 1 in a: drive ) a: drive light comes on, no ACTION by the a: drive, and then xp boots from the hard drive.
I'm like BP in the Gulf of Mexico -- lost and hoping someone can fix my mess.Since Powerquest was purchased by Symantec who offers little support, you need to find the old documentation for Powerquest Drive Image. I suspect one of the FLOPPIES is bootable; computer boot order in BIOS must have floppy drive first. These Guys May Help
Best of Luck...
