Answer» I got a new computer a couple of months ago, and I was real excited by the fact that I'd FINALLY be able to watch those QT trailers in HD. SO I downloaded QT and installed it, and for a short time (2 days, MAYBE) it WORKED fine, but now, whenever I try to use it, it shows a scrambled screen for about a second, then it says Firefox has performed an illegal operation, and/or there is a problem with a plug-in on the PAGE, which then closes my browser. Usually I use Firefox, but I've tried this with IE and get the same results. I've tried UNINSTALLING and reinstalling QT with no results. I have an AMD 4600, 2gb ram, & Nvidia 8400 and running XP sp2. Any suggestions? Your Windows version....info about firewall, antivirus, antispyware, Windows updates |
