Answer» Hi all, i am having a problem that i have NEVER come accross before and am looking for a few pointers. i have installed an NEW motherboard, PROCESSOR, etc, everything seems ok, all the hardware is detected by the bios set up, but now i have come to install windows, i get so far and then a BLUE screen appears stating windows has been shutdown to PREVENT any damage to the computer. i have tried several times with different dvd drives and hdd's but keep getting the same problem. any ideas?Welcome to the ch forums. Please read this. Need to know your hardware setup...
