hi im new here but wondered if anyone can help me, bit of a novice when it comes to computers but here is my problem.
i had a virus on my computer had if FIXED but the bloke that fixed it downloaded paint SHOP pro 8 trial version, this meant all my photos i got on my computer changed over to these files. when my trial run out my dh tried opening a picture and a box came up with what program to USE to open it and now i cant access my pictures through my hard drive. i can get the pictures on my computer through the camera software but i want to save them on to cd as we are suppose to be getting a new computer but the software i have doesnt let you do it you have top save it to harddrive first but when i do that and try to open a file it says file cannot be found!
i have downloaded the new paintshop pro 9 now to see if i could use that but it still says file cannot be found
hope this is making sence and that someone can help me i dont want to lose all my picturesRight click on one of your pictures and select properties. Where it says "file type" "open with paintshop pro", click "change" and select the programme you wish to be associated with that type of file.sorry tried that already but still no luck any more ideas what i can try please?Why don't you just uninstall Paint Shop Pro?

Start > Programs > Accessories.What are these photos........saved .....as.......what camera.....kodak? camcorder? nero save pic s/easycd and others more info....>griggs......First , tell us which O/S your using , then where were they filed ....IE C drive doc & setting or what ?

Unless you deleted them they are still there ......
