Solve : Problems With Toshiba RAID?

Answer»

I just bought a Toshiba Qosmio. I decided to use the RAID program that came with it, I mirrored the Main harddrive with a 60gig harddrive. When the RAID was finished, my 60gig hard drive wouldn't show up on my computer. Could anybody tell me how to disable the raid and get my 60 gig harddrive to show back up on My Computer?Hmmm, you've got me wondering. How can you setup RAID on a notebook computer? Doesn't RAID always involve multiple hard drives? Do you have multiple hard drives in that notebook computer? Thanks for the reply. This is what both of my harddrives are labeled as:

TOSHIBA RAID LD0 SCSI Disk Device
TOSHIBA RAID LD1 SCSI Disk Device

I have (2) 60 gig harddrives. Toshiba Qosmio's come with 2 harddrives. The first hard drive (RAID 0) had about 15 gigs used on it. (RAID 1) had 60 gigs free. After RAID 1 was through mirroring RAID 0. My second harddrive (RAID 1) just disapeared. I have gone through device manager to see if the 2nd harddrive (RAID 1) some how got uninstalled. The 2nd harddrive is still installed I have tried to roll back the 2nd harddrive (RAID 1) but there was no success. I have DISABLED, uninstalled, reinstalled, and enabled the 2nd harddrive (RAID 1) . The 2nd harddrive (RAID 1) still doesn't show up on "My Computer" but it shows up on on Device Manager as WORKING with no problemsExactly what model computer do you have? Can you cite a source showing the specs on it? I looked at Toshiba Qosmio G15-AV501 and it has one hard drive. TOSHIBA Qosmio G25-AV513 NoteBook
Intel Pentium M 760(2.00GHz)
17.0" Wide XGA+
1GB DDR RAM
(2) 60GB 5400rpm
DVD Super Multi
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6600 About the only thing I can suggest is to go to their online SUPPORT and search for info on RAID configuration; the User's Guide has some info on RAID. And, wait and see whether someone else from the posse here has some advice on this.

Also, here's the results of a search in their Support Bulletins .
