Solve : Program search?

Answer»

I am searching for a program to make files, as in files of other people. Sure I can improvise it with many programs starting with ms word but a program designed for it would make it much easier. You have  to be more specific.  Really.
Lots of programs make files. That is what they do.
You can use Notepad to write a program.
Absolutely no idea what you are trying to do...start over.Files, records. Think of a file as a case file. I dont know how to say it in some other way. OK, Let's start over.
I will try to be polite.
Today many people work together on things, at work, at home, in school or in community goals. At some point paperwork is needed and the idea of using computers comes up.
That is when somebody knowledgeable has to step up and tell people how to best use their energy. Trying to teach everybody how to use a computer is futile. But there are others ways to get people to document what thy are doing.
So then, some in the group are innovators that can express ideas very well verbally. Then others who listen transcribe the ideas onto some form of permanent record. At one time clay tablets were popular. Much later somebody discovered how to make paper.
Still, verbal communication is still the  best way people communicate.  Next come reading and writing skills. It is more important to know how to read than  knowing how to fill an ink pen. If you write well, somebody else can fill the ink pen for you. Each person should do what he does best.
Sad to say, some who believe they are technology experts can not read well and have poor communications skills. So a work group has to be lead by those who best understand how to use human resources. Human Reason sewn must come before Computer Power.
Now, having said that, here is a video about a work groups who do use  computers in some part of group projects.

Most of these people use computers. Notice  that the details of how computers work is not the important THING they talk about.

What I am trying to say is that if you have trouble with communications skills and do not understand the terminology, please stay away from computers.

It is not computer terminology and it is not a group project. It's a private thing. I have not found a word in english that is unique and equivalent only to that word in my language. File as in criminal files. Dossier maybe.

Dossier maybe.
That is good enough.
In  common English computer jargon the term file is used for very simple objects.
A dossier is much more.
Dossier
noun
noun: dossier; plural noun: dossiers
a collection of documents about a particular person, event, or subject.
"we have a dossier on him"
synonyms:   file, report, case history; account, notes, document(s), DOCUMENTATION, data, information, evidence
"the FBI's dossier on the suspect dates back to 1961"

YES, file is also use as a  synonym for  dossier. Yet in PC usage it is not enough to  make clear what it it really is a collection of this in  a single package.
A collection of things  can be handled by a Data Base program.

To transport your dossier from one computer to another, you will need a Data Base program installed on both computers.
The Data Base will put the dossier in a wrapper to keep the parts together.
Windows itself does not have an effective data base for the user to use on his data. So a third-party program has to be chosen. Some are both free and good.
(Note: MS Accedes is effective, but it is sold separately.)
Here are free data base programs most often used in Windows:
5 Easy To Use & Free Alternatives To Microsoft Access
These programs have tools to import and export MATERIAL from one PC to another
The MySql is very popular.
I hope this is of some help to you.
It is very helpful thank you.Glad to be of some help.
A note about:
OpenOffice Base / LibreOffice Base
At one time there was one Open Office and then it split in two. The new product is called LibreOffice. There are some slight differences in the products. The Base program differs.  One might prefer one to the other.

OpenOffice / LibreOffice (our LibreOffice review) offer a very similar database tool in Base, hence the inclusion of both under the same header (they do come from the same source-code, after all!). Base is a great all-rounder suited to both home and business needs, providing cross-database support and linking for other common database engines such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and of course, Microsoft Access.
Both OpenOffice and LibreOffice are free products. Free to obtain, free to use and free to recommend to others. Yet they are competitive.   I've heard about libre office. My proffesor in school showed them to us because it is free and serves like MS Office, I also used Linux a BIT so I had to use it.
