Solve : Program to record screen output?? |
|
Answer» I'm looking for a program to record whatever appears on the computer screen to a video file, mpeg2, avi, etc. I'm not looking for a keylogger. I want to create a training video of a new program we have at work. If possible, I would like to overlay an audio file/speech ONTO it (or maybe I could just run both at the same time). Is there something available that could do this, either software or hardware? Thanks. That should work. I'll give it a whirl. If you can think of anything else, I'd appreciate it. I've only played with it though - not mastered it. You can 'idiot-proof' something with a tool like that, huh? Enjoy. .I've used HyperCam and Wink. I found Hypercam doesn't work too well on slower machines, but it's pretty useful. Camstudio is another free option, and my personal choice, but Wink also works well.Hypercam works pretty good. The only complaint is the files are huge. 10 seconds is about 1 mb. Most of the size is from the audio portion. I tried with the lower SETTINGS, like 8 bit, but the audio came out staticky. I'll try the others. |
