I need help if anyone can give it with TWO Programs??

I am useing FIREFOX 3.5.2 and I whent into ajust the Font Size and then I clicked on the Advanced Tab of Fonts and Un Checked the Box that says Let Web Site Pick There Own Fonts.

Not when I go to some web sites the Font is how I set it but on Verizons Home Page and the web site Acme.com everything is very very small why??

Now I don't think these web site are forcing there own Fonts because when I used Internet Explorer my Font Settings would have an Efect on all web pages.

Now befor anyone tells me Just Go Bck to iE

It never worked right with Java and playing YouTube videos and this is why I GOT Firefox and I love it. And now everything is working right with Firefox just not this one thing.

Can anyone help PLEASE??

And the other program I use is Open Office 3.0 and when I open a Wordpad Document in it that I made in win xp wordpad it will open it in Two Pages side by side on the same screen.

Now my gess is this is because it is a long Document but how can I get it to open it with one page under the next. You know like were I would just use the Scrow Bar to move down the Page?

So I would just have one page on screen???
