Answer» programs won't load, the hour glass shows up then goes away with no program loading, we have tryed adaware, SPY bot search and destroy and a virus SCAN nothing has helped, this is on a windows 98 operating system thank you in advanceMore details required. When and how did this first happen? Do you mean some programs or do you mean all programs?......."As the hourglass turns......so GO the days of our lives" Stay tuned ....... dl65 that HAPPENED to me on an older computer....I went through all explorer folders and manually deleted basically everything....I also had well over 30,000 files in just these few folders..... so my computer froze up and shut down a few times during the process...probably not a good idea to do this but it worked for me....consult someone else before you TRY this
