Answer» Hello folks ,
so at my NEW JOB i have to learn outlook on exchange-server (2003) and i haven't really been getting what those .pst-files really are...and where they are for that matter .
So i'd LIKE to ask a few questions:
.pst is a CONTAINER file, containing what exactly? everything, mailbox, caledar, contacts? Is there a pst. for each of these? How many pst are there? I've CREATED a new one today , for test's sake.
Is the pst on my local machine or on the server or on both?
(by the way, i think i do understand what an .ost is, it's only stored locally, correct?)
Thanks in advance!
