Answer» Hello, I am working with a user who has a realy hard time with PCs in general. She wants to be able to view her secretary's calendar. Easy enough, I set permissions to ALLOW this. However, I know she will have a problem navigating to the File tab>Open>Open another user's folder> then findind the user in our global contact list, blah blah blah. This is just too much for her. In an effort to make things easier, I am wondering if it is possible to send a shortcut or other icon for her secretary's calendar, right to her desktop?
Also, is it possible to change the name of someone's DEFAULT outlook calendar from "Jenny's Calendar" to "Finanace Calendar?"
In this case, the schedule setting for Outlook 2002 is not an option.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you. I don't think I can give you an actual solution but I believe some additional info may help WHOEVER can suggest an actual solution. Are the subject computers setup on an Exchange server for Outlook, or are they just stand ALONE computers, i.e. not on an Exchange server?
Have you tried just navigating to the secretary's calendar and right CLICKING on it to see whether you have the option there to create a shortcut? Thanks for the reply. We use Exchange for our email, and I did try to right click the calendar to no avail
