Solve : Random Shuffle in Excel??

Answer»

Hello everyone,
Just wondering if there is a way of RANDOMLY shuffling a row or COLUMN of cells in Excel?
ThanksCreate a row/column whose VALUE is a random number then sort on that row/column.

Or try one of these: http://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?ei=UTF-8&fr=sfp&p=excel+random+sortI've already thought about your first suggestion but, I have close to 200 entries.
I'll keep searching the websites you've provided.
Thanks.Just figured out how to randomly sort! It's probably what you meant Rob but, it took me a few minutes. I just used the RAND FUNCTION in excel in the column next to the one I wanted to sort. Then, I selected both columns and did a sort by ascending (or descending, doesn't MATTER). Now, I just delete the random number column and keep the column that's now randomly sorted Quote

It's probably what you meant Rob
You got it.
