Did you push it in properly?

Perhaps you need to set your monitor to either digital or analog input if it's an LCD monitor. Or you put the videocard in the wrong slot, it NEEDS to be in the upper SLI slot otherwise there will be a big delay on when you'll get visual during boot.. Assuming your monitor is capable of both there should be a switch somewhere. Check the manual to find it.

Did you try booting with a PCI videocard to see if that works? (Not PCI-E)What type of videocard is installed? perhaps you forgot to hook up the SLI POWER connector.. (6 pins)Wonder who the OP was?? I thought Raptor was just talkin to himself...
