Good day sir. I was searching and hoping to solve my problem and i happen to stumble in this website. We almost have the same problem so i tried to do the things that you have posted in this forum but i didnt solve my problem. Hope you can help me fix the sound of my pc too. I reformated a friends pc but he doesnt have the cd for drivers. I spent almost 1 day to search for the sound driver. Well heres the info of the pc.

Its almost the same... Hoping for your quick response. Thanks in advance!And oh, after doing what also patio did.. after i installed the driver it ses unable to start... somthing like "code 10"I see you have a realtek AC '97 audio, you can get the drivers here and when if there's a box to click AGREE to the above, check mark the box and then click next to get to the place to download the files.
