Solve : realtek hidefination audio drivers?

in my system realtek hidefination audio drivers r takin 1,381.00MB .
I think generally audio drivers didn't take dat much space.
Is there any alternate drivers to INSTAL?..?
or how to reduce this space.....?
do they slow down system......??

system:
micro soft windows Xp
professional
version 2002
service PACK 2

I'd advise you to uninstall the one's you currently have INSTALLED and install the appropriate one from this page. You would be best served by using the driver from your motherboard manufacturer's page for that specific model.

Yeah, thats probably the better option.That's definitely ALWAYS the better option.
