Solve : Recommendations on Internet Security Software?

Answer»

Up until now I've been using WINDOWS One CARE (got if for $20 bucks for a year, after using the beta edition) but now that my year is up I'm thinking about switching. I've done a bit of searching on GOOGLE and whatnot but I'm not finding anything that screams "I'm the best! You're PC will be safe with me!" Ok, kinda dumb but you get what I mean. Since most run $50+ and is something I'll be stuck with for at least a year, I want to be sure I'm happy with it. Right now I'm running a free trial of ZoneAlarm and I like it pretty well (especially the price) but my only gripe is the VIRUS scan takes oooh sooo long. After a hour and a half I canceled it So what I'm getting at is if anyone has any recommendations I would love to hear them. Thanks!Well,a lot of us like AVG Anti-Spyware and AVG Anti-Virus.

Great programs and free is a bonus.

They work great download at below link.

I haven't tried AVG Rootkit but,I am fixing to....LOLThanks for the quick reply. That seems like a pretty good scanner but I'm kinda looking for something that will monitor my computer and also something with a firewall and EVEN a password vault. I'm going to bookmark it anyways since it could come in handy In my experience and personal opinion, AVG is the best free antivirus out there.
And Comodo Firewall is a great free firewall too.
If you don't mind paying, I recommend Kapersky Internet Security.
I haven't used it myself, but it's got the best reviews I've seen.
Apparently the Steganos Internet Security suite is exactly the same as Kapersky, but cheaper and rebranded, so that might be worth a look too.
