Bought  two 2 PCs  "Acer aspire M1202 win vista"  . Do I have to make a system recovery cd ( 4 DVDs) for each PC or one set is good for both? If the hardware is identical you can get away with one, but I strongly urge you to use disk imaging software on each system on a regular basis. You can save the images to cd or, as I do, to separate hd's.They are identical  PC. So i guess i can get away with one !
What is the best software to make a disk imaging ? I'm a big fan of Acronis True Image, but it isn't free. There are a number of excellent free alternatives though: http://www.thefreecountry.com/utilities/backupandimage.shtmlTHANKS  Sure.Some makers register the recovery image created to the BIOS ID, so until I knew for sure that Acer don't do this, I would make a set for each machine and clearly mark the disks to avoid confusion.
