Answer» I tried to defrag my recovery drive D and receive the following error.
15% of free space si NEED to complete this function. When I tried to OPEN drive D to delete SOMETHING it would not let me. I have an HP Pavilion dv2000 running XP.
File System FAT 32 Capacity 11.75gb Free 1.38gb %Free space 11%
Does this drive really need to be defrag'ed and how should I go about it.
As usual thanks, MP. No, it doesn't need to be defragged. It is a partition that has your operating system on it and shouldn't be USED for any data storage. Usually there isn't much space on that partition anyway. Just leave it alone and you should be fine.
