Solve : recovery partition download??

Answer»

Where can i get a free FULL program where i can recover a recovery partition?
its probably best not to ask that as you will get accused of WANTING illegal downloads lol Do you want to create a bootable recovery disc from your recovery partition? I'm not sure what you mean by "recover a recovery partition".

Taking the context of the question into consideration, your reply doesn't even make sense.

Also, this is a help forum not a chat room.Quote from: silverpersian on August 20, 2010, 09:25:07 AM

But there are actually some free full programs that can recover recovery PARTITIONS. So im wondering if there are any.

Its just that if i can get a program that just restores recovery partitions then i can probably get the Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator back and restore my computer to its origional factory settings.

So any other help will be appreciated.

I think this means:
1. You've erased or deleted the Recovery Partition and want to restore it.
or
2. You've replaced the original hard drive with a new one which has no Recovery Partition.Quote from: Computer_Commando on August 21, 2010, 12:14:20 PM

Definetly the first one. If it's been deleted, you can't recover it. Why would you even think that? Its' gone, period.

And, apparently, you did not create a recovery disc (on DVD) from your recovery partition, as you are supposed to do. So, at this point, you need to contact the manufacturer and inquire about getting a disc sent to you. If it's available from them, they'll probably charge a small fee. Ah. now.

When i first got my laptop and for the first few months i have had it, i didn't know as much stuff about computers as i do now. e.g. i didn't know alot about processors, memory, free space, graphics CARDS, processor speed.

But now that i know alot more about computers than i did when i had my laptop for the first few months, I now know that i should've got a laptop this year instead of 2 years ago cause i would've known what to do now.

BUT the way i found out about this stuff is by going onto this site and looking in SYSTEM INFORMATION on control panel and found all the other information there aswell.

And thats basically it i think. So thats why that when im going to get a new laptop, i am going to create a recovery disc as soon as the computer is ready to be used.

Matt.Contact Toshiba...
Most manuf. will supply you with a new Restore CD.Do Toshiba have an e-mail address? Or how else do i contact them except by phone?I'd try their website...Customer Support...
