Is there any freeware program that does the same thing as registry-mechanic.
This includes any registry scan and repair.
Or maybe BETTER a program that check for all windows errors.(a better-one than CHKDSK)
Does this exists?

www.ccleaner.comI already have Ccleaner (I love it)but this only REMOVES the items who aren't suppose to be there.(any more)
I want a program who repairs damaged windows files.

Jonas If it's Win2K or newer System File Checker does well...
And it's built into Windows.And how do you run those programs?
I can't find them.

Jonas CCleaner needs to be DLoaded and installed...

System File Checker is Start/Run; type in sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
Note the space between sfc and /

I have Dloaded and installed Ccleaner and I use the issue PART allot it removes allot of unused files.
I 'll try sfc we'll see.
