Answer» Running Vista
Installed a driver disk for an HP printer and horrified at amount of data installed on my PC. Even after UNINSTALLING printer and software, seems PC still has MASSES of HP files, FOLDERS and registry entries.
Can I get rid of it all?
ThanksDid you run add remove programs to remove or use their uninstaller....if so were you prompted on a level to delete the data such as remove all or only remove certain features of a bundle package LIKE a HP all in one printer/fax/scanner.Try Driver Sweeper: http://downloads.guru3d.com/Guru3D---Driver-Sweeper-(Setup)_d1655.html#downloadHP all-in-one printer discs are bloated!
You're BETTER off downloading the BASIC drivers from HP's website.I used the Windows Control Panel to remove the drivers.
.... and yes, thank you, i'm fully aware that HP disks are 'bloated'. That's the reason for this thread
