Solve : Restore Corel Suite 8 and DOS command storage? |
|
Answer» My COREL Suite 8 wordprocessing program corrupted and the error message indicated that it was a problem with .dll Pfit80. I copied a new .dll to my computer and it should be available for repair. (for whatever reason, I can still apparently access and use the spreadsheet portion of Suite I think I need to do the DOS command because I can not access the wordprocessing files at all. When I click on the wordprocessing application, an error message appears which says something about "format" and I can't access anything. The exact error message as well as how many drives are in your system would be helpful. The error message has two parts. The first thing that comes up when you click the WP icon is: Windows can not run this program because it has an invalid format. Then it says that the Corel PFIT80.dll is corrupted; it says to replace it. As far as "drives" goes, I just have a standard tower with Windows 98 SE and a FLOPPY "drive". I think I have "c" and "d", too. Sorry for being so ignorant. http://www.gpsoftware.com/kb/q01-1035.htm |
