Answer» hi, i have had my pc for 4 and a half years and i am now havign a problem INSTALLING my restore discs as the message READS CDR101 READING DRIVE Y when i try to restore it it says this and it will not restore my pc please help me as i am MISSING files and cant find any way of retrieving them so want to restore back to factory settings... I should have put CDR 101 READING DRIVE Y ABORT RETRY FAILsue......Are you able to reboot and as it starts TAP the F8 key repeatedly and when it offers you differant options for starting ...choose the last known good configuration . let us know DL65 Have you EVER changed your motherboard from when you bought the computer to now?
