Solve : Scanner Issue?

Answer» I use photoshop too scan everything in this machine, but as of late it still giveing me the same message this function cant be preformed cause another device has control of it, close the program...... any how that is the only thing that is useing it an its been occuring for a good while. I tried reinstalling had issues an didnt get it to work till recently an same thing is still happening. HP PSC 1510 all in wonder. Dell dimension 4100, 2k + SP 4 an semi recent updates. Not sure why its not working.Open msconfig and on the general tab choose "selective startup" (disable everything from loading) and reboot.
