Answer» Hi HOPE someone can HELP. My monitor keeps blacking out every 10 minutes or so started off about every half an hour but getting worse. It especially does it several times during the BOOTING up process. Done virus and antimalware scans, and done a scan disc and defrag. I did TRY and do a driver scan and it said several of mine were out of date but all of these sites wanted to charge to update my drivers and as I wasn't sure this was the cause I didn't go ahead. Also didn't in case they downloaded the wrong drivers. Any help appreciated. How's your housekeeping.....have you cleaned out the case recently? Does the monitor shut off....Does it stay on but go to a black screen? How long has this been happening?Try different monitor, or THIS monitor with another computer.
