Solve : Service Pack Error? |

Answer» I have Windows XP Prof on my custom computer and I never put a Service Pack into it. Today I just got this nifty little mp3 player and I needed to INSTALL the software onto the computer. APPARENTLY I need Service Pack 1 or 2 in my computer to RUN it so I go to DL it off of a WEBSITE that I found it on (forgot it). So it finally finished DLing after an hour and a half and I run the .exe and at the end of it all it says something about how the Service KEY Number is no compatable. Is there anyway to get around this?If it is not a legitimate XP then the automatic downloads will not work, because it will not validate. |
