Solve : Skype error? |
|
Answer» The TOTAL number shouldn't, but okay. What's the PF number? Also, here's something I'd like you to try. Download and run Mike Lin's Startup Control Panel (http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml). It does not have to be installed, just download and run. Look at each tab. Uncheck any startup items you don't absolutely need. Reboot. Try Skype. What happens? Now it works. Okay. Take a look at all the startup items you unchecked. At least one of them is either causing a conflict or eating too much memory. Choose the ones you absolutely need to start when the system first loads and re-check them. You can start the rest if and when you need them each session. |
