Answer» I am using an Acer Aspire Timeline X (1830T-3425 model) laptop. It has Windows 7, 64 BIT. I have been using skype for a long time but it doesn't want to function properly. Most of the time when I try to open the program, one of two things tends to happen. (1) It seems to get stuck on the sign in part and never signs in. (2) It SAYS that the program is already running on the system. If #2 happens, I use ctrl-alt-delete and shut down skype (as I always find it running but can't access or use it (and it's not on my taskbar where it should be). Other times, when I try to access skype, it leads me to a driver folder in my PC. On the other hand, it works fine sometimes. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it a few times with no success. Any suggestions?I just recently started using Skype and have not used it much YET, so I don't know whether I can help you.
