Answer»

when we install new window and format c drive all the sofware deleted .is it beter if instaal all softwares other drives than c drive?all the softwares work properly or not......
regardsLet me make SURE I understand the question. You are going to format and do a fresh installation of the OS and want to know if you should then install applications on drives other than c: drive, is that correct? If that is the question then the answer is that it's entirely up to you. The biggest benefit to doing it your way is that the system partition would be relatively small and backups (or images) would be quicker and smaller. It IS, however, a good idea to KEEP data on different PARTITIONS from the OS. The advantage to this is if there is ever a problem with the OS and you need to reformat the system partition, the data will be safe. It also makes it easier to backup data on a regular basis.first of all thank U keep smiling...

But, another point to keep in mind, if programs are installed on a partition other than C, you will need to reinstall those programs in the event of a disaster which requires formatting C and reinstalling Windows. But, if you install programs on C and CREATE an image of that partition to use as a way to restore your system, then you would not need to reinstall those programs.Nor would you have to if you image the other partition(s) too.
