1.	Solve : something odd re: AVG 7.5 and 8.0 on Win98?
Answer» I had AVG 7.5 free on my Win98SE and continued to MANUALLY update even after AVG discontinued 7.5. Now, AVG 8.0 does not work on Win98 so was I able to update 7.5 with 8.0 updates or was 7.5 not really updated and I was living in a fool's paradise. Sorry if this sounds confusing but it would seem that you can continue to have 7.5 running and still manually update to the LATEST virus definitions. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.I UNDERSTAND that updates for AVG 7.5 will be available until the end of 2008 at which time support for 7.5 will be discontinued.http://freeforum.avg.com/read.php?1,136697,backpage=,sv= They corrected it recently. Now they say, until the end of AUGUST.
