Answer» Ok, so i just recently fixed my crappy computer and then i installed its necessary drivers it was missing. Everything was smooth and my sound was working perfectly fine, but right when i install my new video CARD everything just went blah. after i installed my ATI Radeon HD 2400 pro video card the sound didnt work. infact, the driver went completely missing. I tried reinstalling the sound driver but when i reload it doesnt work. The sound driver i USED was an AC'97 audio driver from realtek. when i go to my drivers window, it shows that there is some conflict with my PCI driver. There was no problem with it at first untill i installed my video card. Perhaps it is a conflict between my INTERNAL video card and my new external video card?
Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated!~ =]anybody? What exactly does Device Manager error say? What Windows version?
Download, and install Everest: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html Open it, click Computer, then Summary. In upper menu, go REPORT>Quick Report-Summary Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post. Don't include anything under the line Debug - PCI BTW....we charge $1.75 for each bump
