Trying to span a Virtual Machine file that is 6GB to 2 DVD-Rs ... any suggestions on which software to go with to split/span and reassemble back to 1 file?Use 7ZIP and select the option to have the file split into x size. I always hit the dropdown box and hit CDR (700mb) then change the number to the mb of a file I want to split it into. Also this program will compress the files so they will be SMALLER.
