I've been lately using SpeedFan, learning how to use it, etc etc, however lately I've been noticing some strange behaviours with the tempuratures and fan settings and it MAY be affecting my hardware adversely.
I'm had some general idea on how to correctly setup SpeedFan, although I think I have not been fully informed.
The temperatures of the components seem to me as SORT of normal for an Intel PENTIUM D 805, Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX 512, GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3LR....
The system is in a second floor, with carpet, however the case is elevated about 5-15 cm off the floor.
Could anyone please clarify how to setup SpeedFan in my case, as all the other sites I have researched are too different to my system.
[EDIT - System Fan 1 has suddenly dropped to 870rpm, yet little difference to the temperatures.]
