I am RUNNING Win XP Pro

When I go to Start Shutdown then pick Stand By Tab how is that diferant then the people that say they PUT there computers to Sleep Mode???

I do know one THING when I am on my Desktop and I click Stand By the computer goes off and if I hit any Key opn the Keyboard the computer comes back but comes bake to the Log On Screen not the desktop why?

Try unticking that check box for On Resume Password Protect. (Right Click the Desktop --> Properties --> Screen Saver Tab)First off I have my Screen Savers set to NONE so the Tab that says Resume is grayed out?Quote from: nymph4 on August 31, 2008, 06:51:11 PM
