Solve : Storage trouble with microsoft Office? |
|
Answer» Hi Which version of Office is this? If it's Office 2007, make sure you have MS Office Service Pack 2 installed: Thanks for your reply I have downloaded the service pack. On completion of the installation a message stated that all is up to date. The problem still persists - Send and receive message still states the following error message 0x8004060C - "message store has reached its maximum size". I have tried to delete the 5 messages in the inbox but for some or other reason not able to do so. Do you or anybody else have any more suggestions. PST file could be too large. It contains not just the inbox, but all the mail folders. Quote from: Salmon Trout on October 03, 2010, 04:35:09 AM PST file could be too large. It contains not just the inbox, but all the mail folders. I have only recently (3 months ago) purchased the outlook online from Microsoft. I have 2 sent messages one with a few PHOTO's total 7MB and in the inbox I have 5 messages NON of which is bigger than 20kb I'm so frustrated with outlook. Not sure where the pst file is located could you please indicate. Thanks Are you using Outlook with an Exchange server?Quote from: soybean on October 04, 2010, 08:30:29 AM Are you using Outlook with an Exchange server? No this is for home use only I might have to delete it and reinstall and see if this will solve the problem Quote from: JNS on October 05, 2010, 01:10:12 AM No this is for home use only I might have to delete it and reinstall and see if this will solve the problemYes, you might as well give that a try. If you want to save the mail, Contacts, etc., that you now have in Outlook, export it to a file before uninstalling Outlook. But, after reinstalling Outlook, I'd try using it a bit before importing what you exported to make sure it's working correctly.Quote from: soybean on October 05, 2010, 09:40:47 AM Yes, you might as well give that a try.
