So after quite a long bout with my first built comp I finally have it stable. Except for ONE minor annoyance. For reason the USB ports wont read/sense any flash DRIVE or wireless mouse. HOWEVER it works fine for a USB keyboard. Any suggestions?

thank youSarod ....... Have you gone into your device manager and looked at your USB Root hubs and the USB Universal Host Controllers to see if they are all functional....... or do you have a USB mouse you could test them with ?
Can you test the USB mouse reciever and mouse in another pc to see if it works ?

dl65 "I am fully updated with Mircosoft/Windows"/What?sarod. have you checked in the bios to see if USB devices have been ENABLED According to my book on the main bios page you should scroll down to 'integrated peripherals' and press enter, then scroll to 'via onchip pci devices' and press enter, scroll down to 'onchip usb controller' and select enabled. then save settings and exit. good luck. walter.
