Answer» I have an older Sony camcorder (DCR-TRV350) that uses digital tape that I used to download onto my computer to edit when I was using XP. I upgraded to 7 64 BIT about a year ago and it wont recognize my camcorder. I WENT to the Sony site to get an upgraded driver but there are none for Vista or 7. Am I stuck with getting a computer with XP?Yes,While PATIO's very DEFINITIVE answer may turn out to be the certainty. Alternatively IF you can extract the data (i ASSUME audio/video) to another device such as a a camcorder that IS compatible with win 7 that could be another alternative.
