This may sound really very novice to some .But i dont have any option but to seek the help of the great gurus.What is the difference between "c:\windows\system" and "c:\windows\system32" folders.
Thansk.The system and system32 folders and their subfolders contain the core operating system files crucial for Windows to be able to run properly. Be very careful when dealing with files found here. Some of the files here include drivers, fonts used by windows, windows CONFIGURATIONS, policies, etc.

Also be aware that malicious software figures these folders to be a great hiding spot as most people are too afraid to venture into the belly of their computer systems.

It seems a virus has mislead the direction of ur post.Anyway please do use a good antivirus program to SCAN and remove the virus if any in ur OS.
