I am using win xp PRO and when I have a Wardpad Document open and I CLICK on the Minimize Tab it goes down on the Taskbard.

Then I can open another program up and Minimize that to and it also will go down to the Taskbard as well.

But if I go to cklick on say the Wardpad Document on the Taskbar it does come back up. But then if I Exit out of it the other program that was down on the Taskbard also closses as well.

What can be doing this?So no matter what programs you have minimized, whenever you close Wordpad, everything else closes?Yes and not just wordpad I can use Winamp to play music and a Ducument and ANYTHING els.So are you saying it doesn't matter what you close, it all closes?

How LONG have you had this problem?

Any error messages or anything?It's been doing this and it happened befor but I forgot what I did to fix it.

Like say I have Winamp of WINDOWS Media Player play a song and I minimize it. Then I open a Wordpad up and type in that and Minimize that.

Say I go back to the Taskbar and pick my Wardpad that I just had up it does come back up But  if I cloe it the music closses as well
