Answer» can i use a synaptic driver with an alps touchpad? I am using a dell Inspiron 1420 running vista 32bit laptop. The problem that I am having is the touchpad does not seem to WORK all the TIME. I sometimes have to press two to three TIMES before it will work. I have READ online that the Alps touchpad is not as good as the synaptic.
