Answer» I have downloaded 550mb on a certain date and would like to find out what I downloaded. Is there any way I can trace what I downloaded?Where are you seeing you've downloaded those 550 mb? Unless you have some kind of monitoring software installed you can't see how much and what you've downloaded.I have a mobile phone data card and the download amount is stated on the bill and I would like to know what I downloaded.
Well like I stated in my PREVIOUS post, unless you've got software installed that specifically monitors this type of information there is no way to do what you want on a windows machine.
There are some firewalls that logs the amount of traffic that goes through them, so that might be a POSSIBILITY but I doubt you'll be able to see what you've downloaded.I don't know if this is relevent info but if you have vista there is a folder with downloads? just pointing it out there lol Do you use a download manager by any chance? That might make this a bit easier, depending on which one you use. If not, you could try JDiskReport. Its abilities are a bit LIMITED when it comes to this particular function, but it can at least help give you an idea. Once it scans, just click on the Top 100 TAB and then click on Newest.I don't know! How do I find out if I use a download manager? If you don't know what it is you most likely don't use one. It's a program that manages your downloads. It usually allows you to queue up files, put downloads on pause, stop downloads and resume them later to name a few common features.
If NON of these features sound familiar your not using one.
