Like the subject says, i've been having TROUBLE running ventrilo and world of warcraft at the same time. Normally when i play without vent on, i get about 10-20 frames per second, however when i turn vent on my fps goes down to 2-5 fps, and is just not playable. I've tried REINSTALLING vent, and that did nothing.

   Currenty, i am running this on a toshiba satellite A65 laptop. It has a 2.6 ghz pentium 4 and 1.25gb of ram. Any help anyone could offer will be much appreciated. Thanks.Try disabling your virus scanner while playing, that should free up quite some system resources. Turn it BACK on when you're done, ofcourse.Check your process tab while you have both running.  This should ALLOW you to find out what processes are hogging your system resources.You might need to play with reduced graphics level whilst using it. Could you try an alternate software like teamspeak? To see if it's any better.if you are only getting 10-20 fps , wile running the game then it either taking all you system has to offer just to do that , and THEREFOR has little chance of doing any extra work.

or your system is bogged down with bad software like Spyware and viruses that its killing it.

why don't you post your system specs?
